Ensuring safe working conditions and protecting the lives and health of our workers as well as those of contractor organizations working in ZHAKSYMAI OIL, LLP facilities is the Company’s top priority. The Policy outlines the Company’s responsibilities for Industrial Safety, Labor Protection, Civil Defense, and Emergencies. It mandates that all Company employees and contractors adhere to the established safety regulations, conduct training, and continuously enhance employee qualifications.

To prevent injuries, risk assessment is conducted on a regular basis in compliance with ISO 45001:2018 standards, management actions are made, labor protection strategies are put into place, and employees of the company as well as staff of contractors are routinely updated on the status of injuries. Two (2) lost time incidents involving workers from the OILPETROLGAS ТОО and one of the contractors occurred in Kazakhstan in 2022. All incidents were looked into, their causes were identified, and corrective action plans were created in accordance with our HSE protocols. In 2022, the Contractor HSE Performance Process was distributed to all Contract Owners and C&P, and every day when they log in, a pop-up window with a safety notification from the QHSE department displays on their screens, and HSE Posters were printed and put in all visible locations. Monthly QHSE Reports are prepared and given to all company employees in order to communicate HSE Performance.
The Safety 360 program was unveiled in 2018. This program’s goals are to enhance the safety culture at all places and things, as well as operational procedures. This program outlines procedures that call for extra care and lays out the fundamental safety guidelines whose observance will reduce the likelihood of accidents. The Safety 360 program is a crucial component of the company’s strategy, and compliance with it is required. KGNT’s top priority is the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) program.
